Normally when I write one of these brief updates I usually start with "Yes, I'm still alive" and then move on to other news. But what does one say when that is the news??
Yes...I'm still alive after being rushed to the hospital one week ago with an aneurysm in the artery to my spleen. Timing was apparently everything. An ER doctor with a hunch over-rode my admitting doctor and took over my case pronto. The minute they got me into the operating room and put the anesthetic mask on me, my blood pressure dropped to zero and they went in without a clue...
Needless to say it was a long day...and it's been a long week...but I wanted to let you all know...
I AM STILL ALIVE.
And I'll have lots to write on the subject once I'm 100% better.
